Welcome to Sligo’s fun and funky Number 45, a space for everyone in our community to enjoy!
We recently opened the doors to this unique and vibrant space as a place for all members of the community to come in and create, chat, or simply just chill out and relax.
Based at Number 45 High Street in the heart of Sligo town, this accessible building is the first meeting space of its kind in Ireland.
Number 45 was born from an idea shared by the team from Sligo Centre for Independent Living. We wanted to break down barriers between sectors and our vision for Number 45 is to ‘be the change we wish to see’ in the community.
And that dream has been brought to life; through collaborating with students of IT Sligo, a professional interior architect and an accessibility consultant, we’ve created a warm, welcoming space for you to enjoy, a place where we all belong.
No matter who you are or what you do, there’s a spot for you in our cosy seating area to sit quietly alone, read, engage with other visitors and our dedicated team. Or you can join in the activities at our crafting area, which is a daily hive of creativity.
But come in and see for yourself! Grab a cuppa, stay for a chat, and see what we’re all about.
